Bexley Council PCN
A Bexley PCN is a Penalty Charge Notice issued by the London Borough of Bexley. A PCN may be issued in one of two ways.
The first way is that they may leave the PCN adhered to your vehicle’s windscreen. If your infraction is caught on video, they will obtain your address from the DVLA and mail the PCN to you. The latter is frequently the case if you commit a traffic violation, such as driving in a bus lane when it is not allowed.

What happens if I just ignore my PCN from Bexley Council?
If you do not pay a Penalty Charge Notice, the local council will use a charge certificate to increase your fine by 50%. The charge certificate raises £80 fines to £120, or £130 fines to £195, and provides you with 14 days to pay the additional sum.
Anyone who fails to meet the charge certificate deadline will face harsher penalties. At this stage, the council might request that a court order be issued against you, making you liable for payment. In addition, defying this court order will allow the council to undertake debt collection methods such as hiring bailiffs.
If you have to deal with bailiffs, your debt will rise again. The bailiffs’ fees for their services are passed on to you – as well as stress and inconvenience.
